Cérémonie d’ouverture du Congrès mondial JCI Québec 2016

Fenêtre virtuelle sur la beauté du Québec

In 2016, Quebec City hosted the Junior Chamber International’s World Congress for the first time. To mark the occasion, MATIÈRS designed and produced a large-scale show which launched this major event.

Depicting Quebec City’s northern character, the show was set in a decor made up of mobile prismatic shapes that moved vertically, evoking sheets of ice drifting down the St. Lawrence River in winter. These mobile prisms served as blank canvases to project videos in order to create a 3D environment that allowed the public to both see and feel the different movements of water, snow, ice floes, forests and cetaceans in Quebec’s northern environment.
