Entre pitoune et dynamite

The St-André is a schooner on display at the Musée maritime de Charlevoix. Within its hold, visitors can partake in a multimedia experience designed and created by MATIÈRS. The projections, sound effects and music recount the schooner’s last voyage at the close of its first season navigating the river.

The loading of cargo, storms, the daily lives of the crew and sunsets are depicted though images and music, allowing visitors to experience the rolling swell of the St. Lawrence River aboard the St-André. Particular attention was paid to the historical accuracy of both the places and the era portrayed.
